Cancellations & Refunds
Harbour Furniture does not accept refunds for change of mind. All cancellations of backordered or in-stock items must be submitted in writing to Harbour Furniture. Refunds are only entitled if the item is faulty or has a serious flaw that was not known at the time of purchase (unless agreed upon and stated on the order, such as clearance items), does not match the description, or is not fit for the purpose it was sold for (e.g., advertised as waterproof but is not). Deposits on cancelled orders will be reissued as a credit note to be used towards a future order.
Finishes
Our pieces are handcrafted and hand-finished to deliver the unique Harbour Furniture look, and may vary slightly in measurements and finish colour. We do not consider minor measurement differences or slight colour variations as flaws. As timber is a natural product, each piece may differ and may change over time with exposure to light and use. Natural imperfections are normal and may include knots, grain, and surface texture, as well as distressed highlights in different areas. Due to the handmade nature of our items, we embrace these subtle variations.
Custom Orders
Custom or special orders, such as non-standard fabrics, large quantity special orders, or non-range items, are defined as non-stock items and are non-refundable if cancelled, unless the item is proven to be faulty.
Returns for Refund or Credit
All return requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of receiving the product. The purchaser must inspect the items and report any concerns within 24 hours, providing Harbour Furniture with photos and a description of the issue. Due to health and safety regulations, we do not and are not responsible for moving goods that are not Harbour Furniture products. If you deem the item faulty, you must also attach photographs of your complaint for approval of return. Approved returns must be sent to our designated address. The return of items is the responsibility and cost of the customer, and any delivery charges paid will not be refunded, unless the product has a manufacturing fault, is faulty, or has a serious flaw. Harbour Furniture takes no responsibility for damages caused by the customer during transport to their home.
Floor-Stock & Ex-Display Items
All floor-stock, ex-display, and clearance items are sold in “as is” condition. Some items may be eligible for a discount, but these items are non-refundable and sold in “as is” condition. It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect these items prior to purchase. Any damage incurred from transportation or in-home use of floor-stock/ex-display items or clearance items is not the responsibility of Harbour Furniture.
Warranty
Harbour Furniture provides a one-year structural warranty on all branded items. This warranty does not cover general wear and tear of painted, veneer surfaces, or fabrics. Surface damage, fabric damage, or variable imperfections can be caused by the day-to-day wear of how the item is used in your home.
